Straight answers about paying.
- Is Free really free?
- Yes. Every device in flat form, at least 13 backdrop styles in your screenshot's own colours, 3 edges, 3 callout styles, 8 drop shadows, capture of the visible page and 2× export, with no account and no card. Nothing is stamped on your pictures. Click a Pro option and you see it on your own shot before you decide: a 3D device turning, a backdrop running through its colours. Make a free account and your first week is Pro, every option unlocked, no card; on day 8 you're back on Free unless you choose to pay.
- What's the Pro week?
- Seven days of Pro, free, the first time you open the studio with an account. No card, nothing to cancel. We email you twice: two days before the end, and the day after; after it, anything Pro on your pictures is swapped for the nearest free option, and you're told exactly what changed. Nothing you made is deleted.
- What do I get on Pro?
- Every device as a 3D model, every backdrop style (a new one most weeks) and 9 colour sets, all 14 Surface effects (rain, frost, cracked glass, paint), several devices on one canvas with 26 ready-made sets, 12 edges, 53 layouts, 8 callout styles, 15 cast shadows, full-page capture, 3× export, no limit on saved presets or saved watermarks, and a team to share them with.
- What is Lifetime?
- One payment of £149 for DudeShots Pro for as long as DudeShots runs: everything in Pro today, and every new studio feature as it lands. No monthly fee.
- I'm already paying monthly. Can I switch?
- Yes. Buy Lifetime from your account page and your monthly plan ends at the close of the period you've already paid for, so you're never charged twice.
- How do teams work?
- Start a team from your account page (Pro) and invite up to 9 people by email. They get the team's presets, watermarks and brand colours in the studio. There's no team billing: joining is free and everyone keeps their own plan. A Free member can use everything shared; a shared preset with Pro options in it shows them their own shot with it first, like any Pro option. If your Pro ends, the team stays and everything shared keeps working; new invites wait until you're back on Pro.
- How do I cancel?
- From your account page, any time. Pro runs to the end of the month or year you paid for, then you're back on Free. Your first payment comes with a 14-day refund.
- Monthly or yearly?
- £5 a month, or £45 a year, which is £3.75 a month and £15 less than paying monthly for a year. Same Pro either way.
- What happens to my presets if I cancel?
- They stay saved. A preset that uses a 3D device shows the flat version of it until you're back on Pro.
- Who handles the payment?
- Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
